Lamia Tabbaa is Co-founder of Little Thinking Minds, and holds the position of Director of Engagement and communication. In that role, she ensures sure all LTM products are marketed correctly to fit the right customer segments, engaging and communicating with all stakeholders including teachers, parents, and children through creating incentive and reward programs. Ireadarabic.com today is one of a suite of products aligned with national curriculums and learning outcomes, that LTM actively sells and markets.

Before co-founding LTM, Lamia was Content Manager at Maktoob.com, where she also managed and bought Content and aggregated user generated content. Lamia started her career in Jordan television, as a Reporter, Editor and Anchor and this is what sparked her interest in Media and production. She went on to do her Masters in Media Studies at the New School for Social research in New York.   She also worked briefly at the British Broadcast corporation, working as a free-lane producer. Lamia’s Undergraduate was in Social Psychology and Sociology from the London School of Economics and this continues to be her first passion.

Lamia is also a mother of three children, and it’s her concern for their Arabic language development that propels her daily in her mission of providing quality Arabic learning tools for School aged children. Lamia was a finalist for the Earnest and Young entrepreneur of the year awards in 2016 and was “Entrepreneur of the year” for 2017 at the Shira Sharjah Entrepreneurship festival. In she 2016 was awarded the Entrepreneur of the year by the Arab Women Awards.

Most recently, having been selected with a group of 50 influential and high impact women from the Arab world as part of Women’s International Month, Lamia and Rama had big pillars erected for them in Dubai Mall for the month of March 2018.
